Exciting News
| Lots of news and some new designs this month, as well as our tribute to the armed forces, which fits fantastically with our new Red Arrows design. First though, I wanted to show you my most recent completed stitch which is a very simple design, but looks absolutely brilliant. It's a lovely Mini Cooper, uses only 11 DMC colours but is a great, striking stitch for all those Mini fans! The kit costs £24.95 and I had great fun stitching it. |  Lovely Stitched Mini Cooper! |
Forces Tribute
| Our military designs always go down a storm at stitching shows, so I thought it was about time we had a bit of a feature for them in our newsletter. As you all know, we like to encourage people to 'stitch something a bit different', and our military designs are definitely different to the norm. Let's start with a blast from the past, a very popular plane, the Lancaster bomber. This design uses 17 DMC colours and the finished stitching measures 14.3" by 10.1", when stitched on 14 count aida. Next, a little more up to date aircraft which is just disappearing from our armed forces, so there's never been a better time to immortalise it in stitch. Brand New Red Arrows
| This month we're delighted to add to our forces range as we're launching our new Red Arrows design. Featuring one of their iconic planes racing along through the skies, this is a very colourful design, using 27 rich DMC colours. It's an easy stitch though as a lot of the work is in blocks, creating a superb finished look. The finished stitching measures 14.7" by 9" and would be a great tribute to any aerobatic pilot, or just for a fan!
