Zweigart brand waste canvas - 18hpi. Used for stitching on 'uncountable' fabric. e.g. T-Shirts, baseball caps, towels etc. To use, place the waste canvas on your article in the position the finished design should be and then hand sew firm, small tacking stitches - do not just pin the waste canvas onto the material, it must be properly attached to avoid it slipping or moving whilst you are stitching. When the design is completed, dampen (using a water spray is best), then pull the waste canvas threads, one at a time (parallel with the selvedges) to remove.
